We are seeking a self-starting, organized, driven individual who will work cooperatively with our team to maintain and grow existing business, create new business and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas while increasing customer satisfaction. We are an established company in the Industrial cosmetic markets and are looking for hard working and skilled individuals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability, or specifications
  • Present price, credit, and terms in accordance with standard procedures of the company
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes, or returns
  • Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
  • Obtain accurate information for customers relating to shipment dates and expected date of delivery
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of cross-selling, up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Educate customers about terminology, features, and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint
  • Fill requests for catalogs, information, or samples
  • Capturing of accurate and complete information in Customer Relationship Management system
  • Set appointments, follow ups, and tasks, daily and weekly for the sales team.
  • Achieve minimum daily and weekly call expectations.
  • Identify opportunities to create potential sales from new and current contacts in our CRM.
  • Identify and contact facility decision makers through phone and email using company database, online resources, and marketing calls.
  • Use interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network.
  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
  • Manage time effectively, meet personal goals and work effectively with other members of the distribution team
  • Communicate to the purchasing department unexpected increases or decreases in demand for products
  • Maintain proficiency in using personal computer, data entry terminal and other common office equipment and software
  • Follow company policies and procedures
  • Present a professional image at all times to customers and vendors
  • Perform other duties/ projects as assigned.

Skills Required

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of successful call center type sales or previous sales development experience.
  • Successful track record in telephone and email-based marketing.
  • Great phone presence as you will be doing business over the telephone.
  • Highly organized, great with time management.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient level computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Should be proficient in CRM software solutions, preferably Zoho.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task the activities with shifting priorities.
  • Honest, assertive, and systematic.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a group environment
  • Relevant training in Inside Sales.
  • Shipping and Receiving.

Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities.

  • Meticulously follow all written procedures for the manufacture and removal of product. This would include the addition of raw materials and D.I. water, the monitoring of temperatures, mixing speeds, pump speeds and the drumming off batches.
  • Meticulously follow all written procedures on batch cards for pre-weighing of raw materials.
  • Locate, weigh, label and return raw materials and finished product to their given locations for use or storage, daily.
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely completion of all paperwork, covering batch cards, logbooks, and labels daily.
  • Clean and sanitize all equipment, containers and utensils used, daily.
  • Set up and operate mechanical equipment such as fillers, cappers, and labelers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to speak read, write, and understand English.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen.
  • Must have reliable transportation and punctual.
  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid State ID or Background test
  • Basic math skills will be required.
  • Must be able to handle cases weighing between 25 – 55 pounds.
  • Must be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.

General Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years prior compounding and production experience.
  • Machine repair experience – pumps, fillers, filters, etc. a plus
  • Any mechanical training or certificates on process equipment operation or maintenance a plus.
  • Computer skills data entry, E-mail, MS Office
  • Forklift experience and license.
  • Ability to understand and carry out instructions given orally or in writing. .
  • Excellent team player able to take direction or work independently as required.
  • Refers to work order or procedural instructions appropriate for each job, function, or assignment before commencing work.
  • Employee must have the ability to lift, walk, bend, twist, reach, push, and squat.
  • Military background looked on favorably.
