Helps repel mosquitoes and ticks that can transmit vector-borne diseases such as Zika, chikungunya, dengue fever, Lyme disease, malaria, West Nile and yellow fever.

It goes where you rub it, on dry, exposed skin. For your face, put it in your palm first and rub it on. There’s no overspray onto gear.

The details

Mosquito and tick defense for crews who work in the brush

I.C. Insect Repellent Lotion is made for workers who need long-lasting protection outdoors: linemen walking a right-of-way, storm and tree crews, surveyors, construction crews, telecom techs and military units. You're in tick and mosquito country all day, often in rubber gloves and FR clothing, and you need a repellent that works with that gear instead of against it.

It is an EPA-registered insect repellent with IR3535 (10%), EPA Reg. No. 70759-2-91651, that repels mosquitoes and ticks for up to 8 hours, including mosquitoes and ticks that can transmit diseases such as Zika, dengue fever and Lyme disease. The odorless, non-greasy, non-tacky lotion applies smoothly and absorbs quickly. It is a lotion, so it goes where you rub it, with no overspray onto gear, and it can be used on the face by applying it to your palm first. It does not kill insects; it repels them.

The lotion was tested with lineman's rubber insulating gloves (ASTM D120), with FR clothing in arc testing (ASTM F2621) and in vertical flame testing (ASTM D6413), and the results are on file. It is made in Scottsdale, Arizona, in our EPA establishment (91651-AZ-001) and FDA registered facility, and comes in 2 oz, 4 oz, 8 oz and 16 oz bottles, a 32 oz pump, a gallon pump, 4 mL foils and 5 mL packets for the truck and first-aid kit. Available direct, through distributors and on GSA MAS contract 47QSMS24D0078.
