    Diphenhydramine HCl is an OTC external analgesic. Applied to the skin, it is used to temporarily relieve itching and pain.

    Dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac.

What does the label say it’s for?
It temporarily relieves pain and itching associated with insect bites, minor burns, minor cuts, sunburn, minor skin irritations, scrapes, and rashes due to poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. It also dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, oak and sumac.
How do I use it?
Hold the stick straight down over the area. Press the tip repeatedly on the skin until the liquid flows, then dab sparingly. Adults and children 2 and older: apply no more than 3 to 4 times a day. Children under 2: ask a doctor.
Can I use it with other antihistamines?
Don’t use it with any other product containing diphenhydramine, even one taken by mouth. Don’t use it on large areas of the body. Ask a doctor before using it on chicken pox or measles.
When should I see a doctor?

Is this the same as I.C. Ivy Relief?
Both sticks have the same actives (diphenhydramine HCl 2%, zinc acetate 0.1%) and the same Drug Facts uses. Itch & Pain Relief is the first-aid kit version and also comes in 1 mL foils; Ivy Relief is sold as part of the poison ivy line (Block, Cleanse, Relief).
How should I store it in a truck?
Protect it from excessive heat (40°C / 104°F). Don’t leave it on the dash.
What helps a bug bite stop itching?
Wash the area, then use a cool compress. I.C. Itch & Pain Relief temporarily relieves pain and itching from insect bites. Don’t use it with any other product containing diphenhydramine.
What shouldn’t I put on a poison ivy rash?
Don’t use more than one diphenhydramine product at a time, including pills, and don’t use it on large areas of the body. Don’t scratch or break blisters, and wash the oil off first with I.C. Ivy Cleanse.
How long does a poison ivy rash last?
Usually one to three weeks. Stop use and see a doctor if it gets worse, doesn’t improve within 7 days, or is on your face, eyes or a large area.

Bites, stings, scrapes, minor burns and sunburn come with outdoor work, and this is the one stick that covers them, plus poison ivy, oak and sumac rash.

It is an OTC drug with two actives: diphenhydramine HCl 2%, a topical analgesic and antihistamine, and zinc acetate 0.1%, a skin protectant. Per its Drug Facts, it temporarily relieves pain and itching associated with insect bites, minor burns, minor cuts, scrapes, sunburn and minor skin irritations, and with rashes due to poison ivy, oak and sumac, and it dries the oozing and weeping of poison ivy, oak and sumac. Directions for use

  1. Do not use more than directed.
  2. Hold stick straight down over affected area. Press tip of stick repeatedly on affected skin area until liquid flows, then dab sparingly.
  3. Adults and children 2 years of age and older: apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily.
  4. Children under 2 years of age: ask a doctor.
