Region IX VPPPA is the regional chapter of the Voluntary Protection Program Participants Association (VPPPA) serving California, Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada and Guam. Since 2001, the Region IX chapter of the VPPPA has been assisting and facilitating a network for worksites in these states to achieve and strengthen their goals around safety excellence. Region IX VPPPA maintains close partnerships with Cal-OSHA, ADOSH, Nevada OSHA and the Region IX office of OSHA. Together through these partnerships, VPPPA and OSHA are able to further improve the overall safety of the workplace in the areas of Employee Involvement, Management Leadership, Workplace Analysis, Hazard Prevention and Control, and Safety and Health Training.
