Description
I.C. ESD Safe Anti-Splash Solvent Dispensers are designed to minimize cross contamination and personal risk with your cleaning solutions in any cleanroom or sterile environment. Surface resistivity of 10^9 to 10^10 Ω/sq, and an average static decay rate of 0.5 seconds at 40% RH guarantee ease of access into static sensitive environments. Simple press mechanism safely dispenses cleaning solution downward into dish and does not allow for the draining, contaminating, or splashing of the dispensed liquid.

These little dispensers are, ahem, indispensable! I use them on my workbench to dispense solvents such as acetone and paint thinner, and in my bathroom to dispense hydrogen peroxide. My wife uses one to hold nail-polish remover.
In case you don’t know how they work, the top is a small dish-shaped container with a flip-down lid. Pushing down on the stainless-steel reservoir pumps the liquid from the (blue) bottle into the reservoir. The pump is easily operated manually or with a with a cotton swab. The value of these dispensers is that you pump only as much liquid as you need–for example, to moisten a swab. If the rest evaporates, well, it’s only a tiny amount.

I bought this a month ago at the suggestion of a cousin who worked repairing electronics in military helicopters. I use it to hold alcohol for cleaning excess flux off of freshly soldered connections (with an MG Chemicals 852 hog hair brush: http://amazon.com/dp/B004SPCXYO).
It’s stable on a work surface, works well, mechanically, and appears not to allow much evaporation of the alcohol (although I occasionally have to prime the pump if I haven’t used it for too long).
The convenience is priceless. I’m very happy with this unit and wish I had bought one several decades ago.

Have been using this bottle for astringent twice a day for 2 years. Love it. Never leaks. Looks as good as the day I received it. Saves money because I can get the precise amount of toner I want without accidentally pouring out too much like I used to do. Would definitely recommend.

Good stuff, works great for dispensing alcohol for cleaning PCBs and connectors of rosin.

I’m using one of these bottles for Isopropyl Alcohol, and plan to use the second on for Acetone. Pressing the top dispenses a small amount of liquid into the basin, and can easily be used to wet a small acid brush (AES Industries 1/2″ Acid Brushes) for cleaning soldering flux off a PCB.
