A greaseless pre-gloving lotion for the line, the lab and the plant
I.C. Hand Lotion (Blue) is a lightly scented pre-gloving lotion for people whose hands are gloved, washed and back on the job all shift: electronics assemblers and techs at the ESD bench, food-plant line workers, machine operators, lab staff, nurses and aides. Most hand lotions are not welcome on those jobs, because what they leave on the skin ends up on gloves, parts and equipment. This one was made to go on before the gloves and stay on your hands, not on the work.
The formula is built on purified DI water and contains no silicones, lanolins, mineral oils or glycerins. It is greaseless and tack free, absorbs with no residue or oil-tracking, is pH balanced (6.5–8.5) and does not contain chemicals that may affect solderability or cause corrosion of electronic components. It won't break down latex gloves, CHG compatible, NSF registered (E4) for use in and around food processing areas, and dermatologist tested (HRIPT). It hydrates the skin for a better connection to ESD wrist straps and supports an ANSI/ESD S20.20 program.
Vitamins A, D and E are added with blue agave, jojoba and aloe vera, plus a light steeped-tea fragrance and FD&C Blue #1. I.C. Hand Lotion is made in our FDA registered facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, where R&R Lotion has made skin care for industry since 1983. It comes in 2 oz and 8 oz bottles, 8 oz and 16 oz blue ESD bottles for the workstation, a 32 oz pump, a gallon pump and a 32 oz dispenser refill cartridge, and is available direct, through distributors and on GSA MAS contract 47QSMS24D0078. If your area can't have any fragrance or dye, choose I.C. Lotion Fragrance Free (Cleanroom).

Love this stuff. Working in a clinic I was my hands all the time. This lotion not only absorbs quickly but does a great job moisturizing my hands. The bonus is no greasy residual so you can immediately go back to work on the computer . I haven’t found another product half as effective.

This lotion is the best kept secret on the planet. I work in the semiconductor industry, that’s how I know about it. But I also have a problem with dry hands in the winter. I am *fanatical* about the lotion I use for that. For years, I used Gerber’s Grins & Giggles Baby Lotion. Then they quit making it. I tried to find out if it was avaliable under a different name (it was made in Canada). I even went so far as to start a spreadsheet with all the ingredients, and then to compare one by one with other lotions out there. I didn’t get to far trying that way. :-) So then I started trying other baby lotions, thinking I’d find something sooner or later. I did try a few, but I didn’t like *any* of them as much as that Gerber’s stuff. For kicks, I tried some of the lotion we had at work. Holy crap, this could be it! So I brought in a small bottle, spirited some of it away to bring it home, and bam, it’s almost as good as the Gerber’s. And hopefully, I don’t have to worry about it being discontinued! It’s a great lotion, and hopefully others discover that it’s not just for people who wear bunnysuits and cleanroom gloves all day!

I’ve used this lotion when I worked at electronics plants for the last 30 years. It absorbs into the skin without leaving any greasy feel or residue and leaves my hands soft. It’s lightly scented, however the unscented is also available here on Amazon.
