How it works

A DI-water cleaner that leaves nothing behind

It’s built on deionized water, with just enough cleaning power to lift residue.

LoosenGlycol ether

Dipropylene glycol n-butyl ether is a slow-evaporating solvent that helps dissolve oils and flux residue.

LiftSurfactant

Octoxynol-10 is a surfactant that wets the surface and holds soil in the cloth instead of smearing it.

NeutralizeCationic polymer

Polyquaternium-10 is a cationic cellulose polymer. Its positive charge is what makes the cleaner mildly cationic.

Does it disinfect?
No. It’s a cleaner, not a registered disinfectant. Where your protocol calls for disinfection, follow the cleaning step with a registered disinfectant.
Is it OK on ESD mats?
Yes. In a 2007 Electro-Tech Systems test, cleaned dissipative acrylic, insulative film, a static-dissipative workstation mat and a monitor screen showed no difference in static decay from the controls, and resistance stayed in the dissipative range.
Can I use it on screens?
Yes. The label lists terminals and flat panel displays. It also cleans rubber, vinyl, laminate, metal, glass and plastic.
How do I use it?
Spray the cleaner on the surface and wipe it clean with a microfiber cloth, such as the I.C. Microfiber Cloth.
What sizes are there?
16 oz and 32 oz static-dissipative blue spray bottles, and a 1 gallon refill.

A no-residue cleaner for ESD mats and workstations

I.C. Workstation Cleaner is a multi-purpose, no-residue cleaner for ESD mats, benches and work surfaces in electronics, cleanroom, food service and bioscience work. It is for bench techs, lab staff and anyone who keeps shared desks, terminals and flat panel displays clean in a static-controlled area.

It is a low-ionic, general-purpose cleaner built on DI water. It removes dust, grease, grime, fingerprints and solder flux, and its mildly cationic formula neutralizes static charge on the surface being cleaned and leaves a streak-free finish. It contains no alcohol, ammonia, amines or silicones, is non-flammable, fragrance-free and odorless, and is formulated not to harm ESD mats or contaminate or corrode sensitive components. Trace contaminants such as chlorides and bromides are held under 100 ppm.

In an Electro-Tech Systems test, cleaned dissipative acrylic, insulative film, a static-dissipative workstation mat and a monitor screen showed no difference in static decay from the controls, and resistance stayed in the dissipative range. It supports an ANSI/ESD S20.20 program. It is a cleaner, not a registered disinfectant or sanitizer. Made in our FDA and EPA registered facility in Scottsdale, Arizona, it comes in 16 oz and 32 oz static-dissipative blue spray bottles and a gallon refill, direct, through distributors and on GSA MAS contract 47QSMS24D0078.
