Questions buyers ask

FAQ

What is it for?
Storing solid product or powder, and storing cleaning solutions or solvents, in a cleanroom or static-sensitive area.
Square or round storage bottle?
Square bottles store compactly and make powders easy to get out. The round storage bottles are made for liquids and gels.
How do I clean it?
Wash it on the top rack of a dishwasher and reuse it. The bottle material contains no BPA, phthalates or heavy metals.
What makes it static dissipative?
It is molded from MDPE with an antistatic additive that contains no amines or amides. Average surface resistivity is 109 to 1010 ohms/sq, with an average static decay of 0.5 seconds at 40% relative humidity. It supports an ANSI/ESD S20.20 program; it does not certify a workstation on its own.
Can I get samples, pricing or buy through GSA?
Yes. Request a sample, ask about distributor and case pricing, or buy SQB-4-ESD and SQB-16-ESD through GSA MAS contract 47QSMS24D0078.

The details

Powders and solids, packed tight on the shelf

I.C. ESD Square Storage Bottles hold lab powders and solid product, as well as cleaning solutions and solvents, in cleanrooms, sterile areas and static-sensitive workstations. The square, open-top design stores compactly on a shelf and makes it easy to scoop out powder or other solids.

The lid tightens to seal contents in. The bottle is static dissipative, with an average surface resistivity of 10⁹ to 10¹⁰ Ω/sq and an average static decay of 0.5 seconds at 40% RH, and it holds contents up to 160°F. Its antistatic concentrate contains no ethoxylated tertiary amine, the agent widely used in other antistatic bottles.

Sizes run 4, 6, 8 and 16 oz (SQB-4-ESD, SQB-6-ESD and SQB-8-ESD at 50 per case; SQB-16-ESD at 12), each with a lid. SQB-4-ESD and SQB-16-ESD are on GSA MAS contract 47QSMS24D0078. I.C. ESD bottles are molded from MDPE compounded with an ESD additive that gives them their blue tint and static dissipative property, and they are supplied by R&R Lotion of Scottsdale, Arizona, since 1983.
